Vocês já ouviram falar nessa cantora? Pois deveriam! Diane Birch tem ganhado fãs no mundo todo pela sua música soul combinada com blues, sua voz doce e suas incríveis melodias no piano. Me sinto nos anos 70 enquanto escuto seu album recente, Bible Belt.

Have you ever heard about this singer? Cuz you should have! Diane Birch has been making fans around the world with her songs, a bit of soul combining with blues, her sweet voice and amazing melodies in the piano (she plays since she was seven!). I feel like I'm in the 70s while listening to her recent album, Bible Belt.

 

Como se ser super talentosa não bastasse, Diane também tem um estilo de dar inveja a qualquer uma que gosta do visual retro. Numa entrevista, Diane diz que adora pegar peças clássicas e usá-las com um toque moderno.

As if her talent wasnt enough, Diane has a amazing retro style. In an interview, she says "I love to take a classic style and add a little modern flair"

Em outro momento da entrevista ela também cita uma das minhas cantoras e poetas preferidas, Patti Smith. "Eu pareço uma Patti Smith cheia de acessórios" diz.

She still talked about one of my favorites singers and poets, Patti Smith "I  look like an over-accessorised Patti Smith"

Quando perguntam sobre seus estilistas preferidos, Diane fala sobre Vivienne Westwood (Adoramos!) e Martin Margiela. "Estilistas cujas roupas parecem que um carro passou por cima" ela brinca.

When asked about her favorites designers, Diane talks about Vivienne Westwood (Love it!) and Martin Margiela. "Designers whose clothes look like they've been run over by a car" she grins. 

 

                              Então, se você se interessou, escute as músicas dela. São maravilhosas.

Gillian, a atriz que interpreta a Ivey em 90210, está definitivamente chamando minha atenção!
Gillian, the young actress who plays Ivey in 90210, is definitely calling my atenttion!
Adoro esse estilo folk, ou boho-chic, com a cara de "peguei a primeira coisa que vi no armário" misturando um pouco de rock, como vemos nas camisetas (oi Guns!).

I just love this folk style, or boho-chic, looking like "oh, I just got the first thing I saw", using a little bit of rock, as we see in the tees (hey Guns!)

             Outro item que ela não larga são os chapéus. Acho que eles deixam ela com ainda mais atitude.

                                   Other must-have: hats. It is like screaming "I've got atittude".

O cabelo bagunçado e a maquiagem simples dão um ar natural pro estilo, o que eu acho lindo.

Her messy hair and the simple make up give her this natural look, wich I think is beautifull.

Ela sempre surpreende com suas combinações, como a camiseta jeans e a calça estampada (um dos meus favoritos!)

Her combinations always surprises me, like the jeans t-shirt with the printed pants (one of my faves!).

This song from Coco Sumner (Sting's daughter) is one of my favorites. I love the sound of her voice with the guitar. And yes, it's the charming Pete Doherty in the begining of the video.
